Flexible Outsourced DPO Support for UK Organisations
Appoint an experienced external Data Protection Officer without the cost, conflict or delay of hiring in-house.
Appoint an experienced, solicitor-led external Data Protection Officer to independently oversee your data protection compliance, advise your teams and help manage data protection risk — without the cost, conflict or delay of recruiting a full-time DPO
Outsourced Data Protection Officer (DPO) Services UK
We offer practical and reliable outsourced DPO services for UK organisations, with flexible monthly support covering data protection oversight, reporting, DPIAs, DSARs, data breaches, training and ongoing UK GDPR compliance.
A common issue we find is that responsibility for data protection has been added to an existing HR, legal, compliance or IT role, without the individual having sufficient time or specialist support to properly oversee the organisation’s data protection obligations.

What to expect from our outsourced DPO service
Our consultants work alongside your existing legal, HR, compliance, IT and operational teams to provide practical data protection oversight and support.
In practice we often find, the level of involvement varies considerably between organisations. Some clients as us for periodic independent oversight, while others involve us regularly in new projects, DPIAs, DSARs, breaches and decisions about new uses of personal data.

Our support is risk-based and proportionate to your organisation. Some clients require light-touch oversight and periodic advice, while others need their DPO to work closely with stakeholders throughout the month.
How our outsourced DPO service works
1 Tell us about your organisation and the support you need.
We discuss your processing activities, existing data protection arrangements, internal resources and principal areas of risk.
2 Confirm the right level of DPO support.
We establish whether you require a formally appointed outsourced DPO, interim DPO cover or a different level of ongoing data protection support.
3 Receive a clear scope, monthly allowance and fee.
We agree the level of support before work begins so that you understand what is included and how your DPO service will operate.
Once appointed, we can arrange regular monthly meetings, agree priorities and establish an appropriate reporting structure for your organisation.
What are the benefits of outsourcing your DPO?
A DPO is able to perform their role independently and without a conflict of interest and can provide a separate point of oversight from the teams making operational decisions about personal data.
Access to specialist support
Data protection issues increasingly overlap with employment, technology, artificial intelligence, marketing, contracts and information security.
We often provide specialist support when those issues arise rather than leaving one internal employee responsible for every aspect of data protection compliance.
Support before problems escalate
In our experience, some of the most significant data protection risks arise when an organisation changes something: introducing a new system, appointing a supplier, implementing AI, launching a marketing campaign or changing how employee information is processed.
Having an established DPO means those questions can be considered before implementation rather than after a problem has occurred.
Our monthly service allows the level of support to reflect the size, risk profile and requirements of your organisation.
DPO Services pricing
Our pricing is based on monthly time, so you can choose a level of support that reflects your organisation’s size, risk and internal resource.
