The cost of a DSAR depends on the number of documents requiring review, the complexity of the information and the number of analyst days required. A DSAR may take between one week and one month to complete. Based on an analyst rate of £200 per day, a typical project may cost between £2,000 and £5,500, including the initial setup fee.

For a standard 25 to 50 GB dataset requiring a 1-month turnaround, the total expenditure typically ranges between £2,000 and £5,500 depending on how quickly this is completed.

This encompasses all technical setup and dedicated analyst review hours. Projects exceeding 50 GB will be scoped and priced according to the indicative capacity table below.

Project Extensions & Larger Volumes (50 GB – 100 GB)
Datasets between 50 GB and 100 GB typically require a 1 to 2-month turnaround depending on complexity. The total expenditure ranges between £5,500 and £9,500 if a second month is required. This is broken down into different categories:

Setup Costs: The initial setup fee remains a one-time charge between £1,000 to £1,500 and does not repeat.

Analyst Costs: Dedicated review resource hours scale according to the total volume of documents. Month one averages £4,000. Month two requires an additional £1,000 to £4,000 depending on how many days needed.
