Alexander is a senior technology and data privacy lawyer with over 20 years’ experience advising organisations on complex commercial, privacy and regulatory matters. He works with Westbrook Data Protection Services Limited as a freelance legal consultant.
His experience spans ad tech, data-driven business models and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on building practical, scalable legal and data protection frameworks.
Alexander has held senior in-house roles, including Head of EMEA Legal at Acxiom, where he also served as Data Protection Officer and was part of the regional management board. He has advised businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on GDPR compliance and regulatory risk, supported organisations in establishing legal functions, governance structures and template agreements, and has extensive ICO audit experience. He has also provided expert evidence to the UK Parliament on privacy and the digital economy.
