Data Protection Officer (DPO) as a service
Secure your data with our expert DPO service
Do you need a DPO?
The UK GDPR introduces a duty for you to appoint a data protection officer (DPO) if you are a public authority or body, or if you carry out certain types of processing activities.
Your core activities require large scale, regular and systematic monitoring of individuals (for example, online behaviour tracking); or your core activities consist of large scale processing of special categories of data or data relating to criminal convictions and offences. However, you can appoint a DPO even if you aren’t required to.
What do we cover?
As your Data Protection Officer (DPO), we cover a comprehensive range of services to ensure your organisation’s compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
Our responsibilities include conducting regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in your data processing activities. Develop and implement robust data protection policies and procedures tailored to your specific business needs, ongoing training and awareness programs for your staff, ensuring they are well-versed in data protection best practices.
In the event of a data breach, we manage incident response, including reporting to relevant authorities and guiding your organisation through mitigation and recovery processes. We also act as the primary point of contact for data subjects and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparent communication and adherence to legal obligations.
