Compliance Projects
If your company has not addressed the issue of data protection compliance,
Westbrook Data Protection Services can assist with identifying the
compliance needs of your company and drafting the required compliance
documents. If the issue has been addressed but your company has further
compliance issues, we can advise and assist.
A complete compliance project would entail an initial consultation
to discuss any measures which your company already has in place, and
for us to gain an overview of the types of data which your company holds
and the purposes for which it holds such data.
After the initial consultation, a report outlining the main issues
and the compliance steps required would be sent to you. Once your company
has made a decision as to the level of assistance which is required from
us, we will agree timescales with you.
If you have any questions about compliance projects, or if you would
like to book a free initial consultation, please contact us.
Training
Westbrook Data Protection Services provides a variety of training
sessions to suit the requirements of your company. These range
from general sessions, during which the general principles of data
protection laws are discussed, to specific sessions that cover specific
requirements of the law in more depth. In addition, we offer training
sessions tailored to your business sector or to a department within
your organisation.
We also offer an excellent value, one hour seminar, on data protection
law with an HR bias. This seminar covers general data protection
issues and discusses a number of key HR issues in the context of
data protection. This seminar can be provided at a flat fee, rather
than a fee per person. Please call Clara Westbrook for availability
and booking.
If you would like to discuss the general training courses, or a particular
type of course from which your company would benefit, please contact
us.
Data Protection Audits
In order for your company to identify:
- the different types of personal data which it holds;
- the purposes for which is uses such data;
- the types of individual on which it holds personal data;
- who the data is disclosed to; and
- how the data is protected
it is advisable for a data protection audit to be carried out. Westbrook
Data Protection Services can assist with carrying out such an audit
and produce a report illustrating the results. Once the results
have been reviewed, the compliance issues and the measures required
to address such issues can be identified.
If your company would like to conduct an audit without external assistance,
we can provide advice and guidance on how best such an audit can
be carried out.
Westbrook Data Protection Services will be able to assist you with
the various compliance measures to be implemented.
If you would like more information on the audit process, or if you
would like to book a free initial consultation, please contact us.
Privacy Policies
Does your company have a privacy policy? If so, does your policy
include all of the information required for compliance with data protection
laws?
Whether your company has not yet implemented a privacy policy, or
whether there is a policy which would benefit from a review, Westbrook
Data Protection Services can assist.
If you would like to discuss implementing a privacy policy within
your company, or if you would like a review of your current policy, please
contact us.
